Four people were killed when two groups of villagers armed with guns and sharp-edged weapons clashed over distribution of irrigation water at Sri Hargobindpur in Punjab‘s Gurdaspur district Sunday evening. Cops rushed in, but the SHO’s vehicle was hit by gunfire.
