The King Khan of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan carved a niche for himself in the acting world. Those who know him, know for a fact that when it came to his big dream of acting, Shah Rukh Khan left no stone unturned. He even left his masters at Jamaia Millian Islamia to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.

It began in 2009, in July when Shah Rukh Khan received a Doctorate in Arts and Culture from the University of Bedfordshire. With this, he became the first foreign actor to be conferred the Malaysian title of Datuk – akin to a British knighthood.
Thereafter, in 2015 he got a Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Edinburgh. Upon receiving the respective degree, he gave a speech that left quite an impression on the students. He spoke about his struggles and journey, which motivated the young minds.
Last but not least, in April 2019, Shah Rukh Khan received a Doctorate in Philanthropy from the University of Law.
Further, if we roll back to his early education days, Shah Rukh completed his schooling and college in Delhi. He went to St. Columba’s SchoolDelhi, and reportedly got 80.5% in class 12th, proving his academic excellence. For his Bachelor in Economics, he went to Hansraj College, Delhi University. Lastly, as aforementioned, he went to Jamia Millia Islamia for Master but dropped out to pursue his acting.
Besides being an academic achiever, Shah Rukh Khan is an avid book lover. Reportedly, he enjoys reading Dan Brown. The actor also enjoys the title of an author, as he wrote – ‘Twenty Years Of A Decade’ in 2007.
