Tanuj Virwani reflects on his breakup with Akshara Haasan over leaked pictures, reveals wife Tanya Jacob’s reaction: ‘She didn’t take a stand for me’ | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Tanuj Virwani recently opened up about his past relationship with akshara haasanthe daughter of Kamal Haasan. The two dated for four years but eventually parted ways after private photos of Akshara were leaked online.
During an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Tanuj revealed that while he stays in touch with many of his exes, he no longer speaks to Akshara. “Sometimes when you lose respect for your partner, and you don’t take a stand for them when you have to, then I may forgive but not forget.In that case, I don’t have to be friends. We are happy in our respective space,” he stated.
Tanuj shared that the reason for losing touch with Akshara wasn’t their breakup but the lack of support he felt during the leaked photos incident. He explained, “It has nothing to do with our breakup. But, everything that happened about the leaked pictureseither you believe I have done it, or you believe I haven’t and in that case, you need to take a stand for me. But, she didn’t. I believe everybody has their own reasons and now it doesn’t really matter.”

Tanuj also mentioned that his wife Ask Jacobwho he married last December in a Christmas-themed wedding in Lonavala, was initially concerned about his past with Akshara. He said that Tanya had asked him about the situation early in their relationship, and he had been honest with her.
“The irony here is that I met Tanya around the time when I broke up with Akshara. We were just friends at that point, but we had met around that time. And at that time, maybe out of curiosity or concern, I am not sure, but she did ask me about the whole episode. My answer was still the same. I told her the reality. That’s about it,” he added.

Now, the couple is expecting their first child.
