Throwback: When Akshay Kumar unbuttoned Jackie Shroff’s shirt | Hindi Movie News – Times of India
Jackie Shroff is one of the most rooted and kind human beings one can come across. His journey into the world of movies started with Subhash Ghai’s Hero about 40 years ago, and since then, he has gone on to work in forms like ParindaGardish, Happy New Year, Radhe etc. The man turned a year older on Thursday, and everyone from Ajay Devgn to Kareena Kapoor to Ananya Panday wished him on his special day.
The actor also got featured in his daughter Krishna’s Youtube channel, where they discussed a lot about his life. On being asked to recount a funny moment on the sets, he recalled one which involved him and Akshay Kumar.
He shared that he was working with Akshay Kumar and Sidharth Malhotra in Karan Johar’s Brothers. He was playing their father and in the climax scene, he had to hug the two of them and all three of them were crying. He stated that it was a very good scene and when the cut was announced and everyone left the embrace, he realized that all his shirt buttons were open. And it was the doing of Akshay Kumar.
He highlighted that as he was busy in his dialogues, Akshay was unbuttoning his shirt and he had no clue about it, as he was so immersed in the scene.
