Recounting an encounter with Dilip Kumar, Pal shared how the legendary actor admired his work in Shagun, revealing Kumar’s regular viewership and appreciation for his performances.While waiting for his son in Pali Hills, Surendra Pal had an unexpected encounter with Dilip Kumar and Saira Bano. As they drove by in their Mercedes, Pal greeted them, feeling fortunate to see them. Despite initially passing by, Kumar later approached Pal, recognizing him from the television series where he played the father of two daughters. This surprise encounter left Pal astonished, pondering how Kumar knew about his work in the serial ‘Shagun.’

Reflecting on the cherished encounter, Surendra recounted how Dilip Kumar, known for his role in Devdas, warmly engaged with him. Kumar held his hands and conversed for about 30 minutes, expressing interest in discussing Surendra’s character in the serial.
